Our Pets

Funny, I have been reading so many Facebook posts about people and their pets. There are hundreds of pictures, all kinds of poses, costumes, cuddling, trips with them and so much more. They are all so happy and loved, including our little man Ponch. They make us smile when we are happy, smile when we are sad. They love us no matter what is going on in the world, and with a bit of coaxing, will do just about anything we ask of them. They will cuddle and kiss us even when they are tired and bring us all kinds of toys, catches, and anything in between. I guess you can tell how much I love my guy and all of my pets in the past. Each pet has been special in their own way and loved till the bitter end. They are all missed equally and each time we lost a pet, we swore it was our last. Does this statement sound familiar? Then they are gone and life is too lonely to go on without a new companion to fill the house with happiness again. My Ponchie is now 8 and I hope to have him around for many more years. I think or shall I say, “swear he is the last pet,” but who knows what life will bring us in the future. DSCF2689_2ponchie
