I have so many movies that I have enjoyed over the years and some I could re-watch over and over, but my all-time favorite is Titanic. I was scrolling through the channels one day while working on my computer and there it was. It had already begun and they had set sail, but it did not matter. It grabbed me from the moment I saw it and over 2 hours later, I was on the couch still and had set my work aside to finish the movie. They managed to capture the horror of the film while having you fall in love with the characters and involve yourself in the love, hate, and time period the movie was set in. The realness of the movie was brought to life from this real-life experience in our history and through the love story you could feel the vibes from beginning to end. I could feel myself on that ship and feel the horror these people must have been through in that day when not only did many people die, they died in sheer horror of who could be saved and who could not. Families, both rich and poor, were prematurely ended and together they lie at sea for all of us to remember. Thank you to the writers, directors and actors for bringing this true story to life for all of us and remember that tragedy is always lurking, so live life to the fullest when you can.
