An Ill Friend

I have been chatting with a friend, who I will not name, about the surgery she has scheduled for cancer. She is a strong, confident, independent, lovely women and has been a good friend over the 25 years or so I have known her. We may not have spent unlimited time together throughout those years, but you always know a real friend, or at least I do. We have had our families together for many events, traveled at times, dined at times, and then just email for long periods of time to keep in touch. This blog is giving me a chance to share my strength and strong will with her and give her the extra calmness to know and understand that I know the steps she is walking. Although our illnesses differ, it still affected both of our families, our day to day routines, and our test of strength to keep on pushing. I know deep down inside all is going to go well. Not sure why or how I feel that, but I do. I will be there if you need me to be by your side to hold your hand or just be an angel on your shoulder. Whatever works for you works for me. I have plenty of love to go around, and to all those in life who are good, good will come to you. Take care my good friend and sweet dreams during surgery. By the way, “keep on dreaming” because I truly believe that they will someday come true!positive words
