As September comes close to an end, I ponder about the this past month, and I think of all the posts about Childhood Cancer Awareness. Everyone jumped on the band wagon and shared, posted, liked, commented, etc., and to say the least, it was quite touching to read all that I could read. We banned together, like each month of the year, in support of an important cause—something I believe we all feel equally strong about.
Children in the least should never suffer and I often wonder why they do, why we have to subject them to such treatments, pain, and anguish. For this I have no answer, but I do know that together, this tribe can raise the awareness and bring money and education about this month and our children along with every other cause we put our minds to. For each and every child out there who spends most of their childhood, or at least a large portion, struggling through some kind of terrible illness either to be cured or to learn to live with, I send you my heart, my soul, and my love. Hats off to every month of the year supporting something serious—something all of us should be aware of as much as we can absorb. Sending my prayers to you all.
