Skin Cancer Awareness

I cannot stress the importance of using sunscreen enough, something I have always done throughout my lifetime. Limiting your exposure and screening properly can over time save you from turmoil of different kinds of skin cancers. There are two most common, melanoma and non-melanoma and if you follow the link below it will easily explain them for you to decipher. Some quick facts to digest for those of you who may be concerned, something I personally think we all should be, are:

1)Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States.

2)In ages 15–29, melanoma is the second most common cancer.

3)The incidence of people under 30 developing melanoma is increasing faster than any other demographic group, soaring by 50 percent in women since 1980.
