My Helpers

I enjoy getting out in the community and sharing my story with others because I feel like I have the chance to make a difference in the lives of others.  But without my volunteers and helpers, I could not do all the things that I do. I recently attended the Pediatric Stroke Conference at CHOP, which was an amazing experience, but along to help me was Josh Heller, a young man I have blogged about before. Josh raised money on Facebook last year, with the help of his parents as part of his Mitzvah project, to donate to my Foundation and purchased 100 books to gift out to various charities. Today, at the Pediatric Stroke Conference we both went and gifted out the second half of his purchase and everyone who attended the conference today was given one of my books.

I cannot do that kind of thing with our your help. If you think you may be interested in making a donation that can gift books to organizations to help families cope with a sick child, email us and let us know. If possible, I will go and meet with the folks upon delivery. Touching peoples lives is what we do, and it makes everything worth it. Thanks Josh and hats off to you and your family for all of your input. It means so much to know that people do care. And I know that our efforts truly make a difference.
