The Heat

Posted by on Jul 28, 2016 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

There have been some ups and downs with the heat this summer. We recently experienced a record weekend and with that said, the elderly are not the only ones who we need to watch. Anyone with breathing problems and ill children need to stay inside. If there is something that needs to be done outside with an ill child, please remember to limit your time, stay hydrated and try to stay in the shade. If you have to skip something with that ill child, please do not feel bad and explain to that child  that you will make...

Our Pets

Funny, I have been reading so many Facebook posts about people and their pets. There are hundreds of pictures, all kinds of poses, costumes, cuddling, trips with them and so much more. I spent a year trying everything to avoid surgery but could not get relief and then I injured the second shoulder. Before I made my final decision of when to have surgery, I looked into stem cells and platelets. After two different consults I decided to give this option...

I know that it has been a bit of time since the Orlando incident but I cannot stop thinking about how that week unfolded. First a young up and coming singer is gunned down after her concert and then 50 innocent people were killed in a nightclub about a night after. Of course it triggered a few other things around the country, but my heart is still aching for these tragedies. We all sit watching the news with heavy hearts and wonder how can this keep happening? Why? Why? How? Are there answers to keeping both...
