Favorite Fall Activity

Posted by on Oct 30, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

I love summer so very much, but when it ends, fall comes barreling through and the feel and smell embrace me allowing me to let summer go for the time being. I love the colors, the scent of the candles and baked goods, decorations on everyone’s front porches and the excitement that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. The favorite thing I love to do in the fall is shop. Going to at least one festival is a goal and purchasing something handmade for my home or a friend’s home is something I look...

There is not too much I am afraid of in this world but as I check with myself,  like everyone else, I assume are afraid of the basics. I think is is more that I fear this, not particularly afraid. There was one incident that I spent the Christmas holiday in the hospital and although I do not celebrate Christmas, it is a time that we were always together with the family sharing time for both Christmas and Hanukkah. I was told I could not...

A Terrible Experience

Posted by on Oct 15, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Recently, a friend’s daughter was rushed to the hospital and ended up on life support with a blood infection. I felt so terrible for her and began to cry every time I thought of even texting her to send my prayers. I decided she did not need me there since there were plenty of family and friends much closer than I. Almost a week went by with all of us getting updates via text or call from someone in the family. On the 6th day I woke up and felt the need to go down to the hospital and sit with them and see...
