Lets Just Do it!

Posted by on May 31, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

We all dwell on what we should and should not do, whether it be diet, exercise, a trip, a treat to ourselves, whatever. Lots of us mean well and think and verbally chat about these things over and over again. Some of us even act on this, but most of us seem to like the sound of our voices and the promises we make to ourselves. I am even guilty of this at times. None of us are perfect and variety is why we are here on earth. Together we make a perfect mix of why we were put here and what we are all about. It is...

National Nurses Week

We previously celebrated National Nurses Week, something I am not sure I have ever heard of before. I believe that these unsung heros are the kind of people we should salute every day. We often go into a crisis with a “why me” attitude covered in remorse about being picked out for this terrible thing. It could be a financial issue, health issue, personal feeling issue, just about anything with doom and gloom can be put into this category. I am not saying that it is not a normal reaction because we are all humans and want the best of everything. What I try to keep into...

A Beautiful Service

Posted by on May 7, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

Recently we went to a friends memorial service. Tom was the twin brother of a very very dear friend of mine and his passing is something I will never understand the pain of loosing a twin. Although I did not know Tom very well, his siblings and entire family are one of those families you embrace immediately when you meet them. Everyone, from mom to the newest member of the 14 sibling clan and their spouses and children enfold you when you meet, and right away you are part of them and everything they stand...
