Here They Come

I know it may be a bit early but the hum of chatting about our Hummingbird feeders has been abuzz. For some reason, it has been a topic a few times this week and then I got a text that they have been spotted in the state of New Jersey. With that said, I have a small feeder outside billowing in the wind and sun waiting with bated breathe. These small creatures have earned a special place in my heart from just being whimsical and putting out one feeder a few years back with a strategic mix of food, the special...

Donations From a Passing

4/15 Mark, On behalf of the Alesia Shute Foundation, we want to thank you for your generosity in having donations sent in our Carmen’s memory to the foundation. We may not have spent unlimited time together throughout those years, but you always know a real friend, or at least I do. We have had our families together for many events, traveled at times, dined at times, and then just email for long periods of time to keep in touch. This blog is...

A Friend

Posted by on Apr 12, 2015 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

There is a friend of mine who has a challenged daughter. Not remembering her diagnosis and being misleading is not what I want to blog about but it is the person within. Lisa and I became friendly when she opened her business in my area and I began to frequent it. We have never been out socially but for some reason I felt an instant connection to feeling her kindness immediately upon our first meeting. I come to find out she has a daughter who is challenged and have watched over the past few years how she cares...
