Again, we leave September with Childhood Cancer Awareness month and slip into October, Breast Cancer Awareness month. Loving all the support for all our survivors as well as those still fighting. This month brings home the thoughts of all those women who are diagnosed each year and those women who are still fighting. Will they ever find a cure? I often think. Staying Healthy

Everyone has goals and purposes in life, I assume, but how we get there is a different story. Because I was so ill and weak throughout my life, I feel very focused on taking care of my body so that, as I grow older, I will be able to stay strong and healthy. I am certainly not perfect and do not preach to anyone about being that way, but balance is the key to my secret. I eat well, giving myself all the food groups and try to stay away from too much fat.
