My event, An Evening of Inspiration taking place on March 3rd is almost upon us, less than one week away. I would like to share with all of you that it may be a sellout so, if you plan on getting tickets to the event, I strongly suggest you do it ASAP. I am thrilled that so many people want to attend and that I can share a few words with you about my foundation and our efforts to help others and make a difference in the lives of families facing illness. His name is Ponch and he gives us so much joy that there is never a day that goes by when we do not look at him just to smile. The pleasure reminds me of my dog Beepo, a...

50/50

I finally took the time to sit and fully watch the movie 50/50. I did see previews of it when it first came out and then never got a chance to go see it. I can tell you that it was worth watching. The story hit somewhat close to home for me. The difference was I was a small child when I was diagnosed with my disease and this young man was about 27. It was easy for me to imagine his pain and how he felt and even more so, how he felt being ill in what should be the prime of his life. The need of wanting to remain...
