My husband and I visited anther wonderful place yesterday for a tour and to donate some books and our experience was amazing. This building not only has history, the beauty of the architecture and the way it is preserved was it’s own experience. The building has been added to over the years and now has 45 bedrooms if I am not mistaken. It is twice the size as the one in Camden and also has other places around Philadelphia. The kitchen is enormous, there are toddler play rooms, teen game rooms, computer rooms,...

On face book today I was reading about someone asking, “how do you stay focused when so much of life gets in the way? Work, kids, things going wrong on a day to day basis, just keeping your head on straight when you struggle to get through it.” There were lots of answers and after I read all of them I even added to them. It is so nice...

It was turmoil, and very stressful for all of us including our dog and managed to ground me during a very busy weekend. I had an awards dinner, and a book signing in the midst of it all. Of course we managed and skimmed by without too much water damage. This crisis brings anyone back to the reality that we are all vulnerable to have things happen...

My thoughts for today is a question to you all who are reading or have read my story. If you have read my book, your honest opinion on if the story would make a nice lifetime movie? I met a women on FB who is a screenwriter and I am sending her a copy. She is going to read the book and give me an honest opinion. I want yours as well. Please feel free to answer this question, because you are the folks who would most likely support this project if for some crazy reason it turned into something. This is just a...
