Slow but Sure

Editing of the book is taking a bit longer than we expected but coming along nicely. Sooo, printing may take bit longer than expected but it is all good news. After I told you all about Dr Koop, something else wonderful happened. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a place which my husband and I have been involved with and I has been a part of my life from childhood is going to send me an endorsement. I am ready to tell you all that I am going to “DONATE” the proceeds of this book to The Children’s...

How can I describe the excitement I feel with the completion of this project coming to a close. My book is now being edited by Corey Blake one of my writing coaches and we hope to have a finished product in the next few months. There will finally be something for me to share with all of you. We managed to take small family trips during the time I was so ill. From what I remember they were always challenging. They had to worry about where the bathrooms were in case I needed to go at that moment. There was no waiting, I could not wait. Then, if I had an accident, what would they do? Mom brought extra clothing and would wash me...

My thought of the Day

We all have a purpose, right? Well I found this written somewhere and I think for me, it put life into perspective. I felt I wanted to share this will all of you. Whether you have been through anything like I have, or know someone who may have been extremely sick in their lives or not, this seems to say it all. “The purpose of life is to matter, to be productive, and to make a difference that you have lived at all.” Thank you for listening!
