Andrea Garrison was a wonderful person to meet the other night. We spoke on her blog radio show for over 1 1/2 hours in depth about my book. She had read it and loved it and wanted to give me a real chance to share my views and feelings from writing the book to how I felt when it was complete. She was easy and fun, warm and very very kind. Andrea seemed to understand me and I think that is from reading my story in full before she interviewed me. The kitchen is enormous, there are toddler play rooms, teen game rooms, computer rooms,...

We will be taking a tour of the facility and hopefully may meet some of the families staying there that night. This trip is a bit overdue but is going to help me both feel rewarded by gifting my books and hopefully in return, the families we gift my book to will feel inspired and full of hope after they have read the story. It is so nice...

Going to Camden to the Ronald McDonald House is a humbling experience. It was wonderful to join all these families for dinner and break bread while hearing some of their stories. I have to tell you that the house itself is beautiful, with rooms large enough to sleep families who need to stay there, and at the same time the common areas are so well furnished, and cared for that you can tell everyone who is a part of the operation truly cares for what they do whether they volunteer or are employed my the company....
